Bunco Fun Evening:
Saturday, May 8, 2010, 7:00 pm

Co-Ed Bunco sponsored by the Western Catholic Union Branch 268 in our Parish Center.   Take mom out for a special evening, have a fun date night, or just get out and meet new people at the Co-Ed Bunco. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and play begins at 7:00 p.m.  The cost is $15 a person, which includes snacks and prizes.  Beer and soda will be available.  Reservations are suggested by calling Karen Simily at (636) 583-1788 or cell (636) 584-4860 or email: similykr@juno.com by May 7th.  This is a Matching Fund project to benefit the St. John's Pro-Life Trip in January 2011!  Donations are also welcome! Hope to see you there!

Menu consists of sausage, bone-in-ham, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits & gravy, fresh baked cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice, milk. Adults-$7.00; children 6-12 yrs.-$3.00; under 6 yrs.-free. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #8073. Proceeds to benefit St. John's School.

NOTE: When the 5th Sunday falls in a holiday weekend, the breakfast will be held on the 4th Sunday unless some other parish event supercedes the breakfast. PLEASE, check back here for the correct dates before coming.

The 6th Annual Julie B. Doorack Memorial Scholarship Fund Softball Tournament. Preparations have begun for our Annual Dinner/ Dance/ Auction. Our theme this year is the Wide World of Sports. Once again we are asking for our  parishioners help. If you have an item you would like to donate or work for a company that would donate, please contact one of the committee members. Our parish is full of many talented people so it also can be in the form of a service. If you visit a business often consider asking them for a donation.  Every year we pick up new businesses this way thanks to the efforts of our school and parish families. Menu for the evening: Beef Eye of Round Roast(sliced with gravy), Pulled Pork ( tender and rubbed with special seasoning),  BBQ Chicken (slow smoked), Green Beans, Baked Potatoes, Pasta Con Broccoli, Tossed Salad, Rolls, and dessert. Fall Sausage Festival:

Held the second Sunday in March. No, it's not a dinner for spring chickens, but a huge chicken dinner served in the spring. Served family style and all you can eat! Deep-fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, cole slaw, home made bread and pies, coffee, milk. Drive-up take-out orders, follow the signs and drive around behind the school. Country store, quilts for sale and crafts provided by the ladies of the parish. Quilt raffle.
Adults $11.00, children under 12 $4.00, pre-school children free.

WCU Breakfast:

K of C Fish Fry:

Held on selected Fridays during Lent. Serving from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m.  Cod and Catfish, Mashed Potatoes, Stewed Tomatoes, Green Beans, Corn, Cole Slaw, Peach Crisp, Fruit Cup, Coffee, Tea and Lemonade. All you can eat.
Adults: $9.50, children (6-12) $4.00, pre-schoolers FREE. Everyone is welcome.
